November 05, 2010 VA PTA STATE CONVENTION INTERNET SAFETY TRAINING
Enough Is Enough (EIE) will be leading parent and educator audiences in Internet Safety 101 at the annual PTA State Convention in Richmond, VA. Participants will learn how to protect kids from the dangers of pornography, predators, cyberbullies and while using social networking sites, gaming and mobile devices. EIE partnered with the Virginia PTA during the production of the Internet Safety 101 program. In 2008, with support from the Virginia Verizon Foundation, the U.S. Department of Justice and other partners, EIE was able to supply each PTA unit with a copy of Internet Safety 101 and train PTA members as program faciliators. EIE is pleased to be able to continue its partnership this year, presenting the Internet Safety 101 resource to new PTA members and working with existing 101 Program Facilitators.
